Port Bo. This is a programme from a 6 part 1999 series called Songs From A Country Called Spain in which the late Jan Fairley explored the distinctive political and musical traditions to be found within the modern nation. Port Bo is a group of habaneras singers from the Costa Brava. Recorded during the annual habaneras festival at Calella de Palafrugell. Others in the series explored the music of Mallorca, Basque Country, AndalucĂa, Galicia and Catalunya.
